He also speaks of Syangboche Airport at 3750 meters / 12303 feet. The airstrip is the closest to Mount Everest and Everest Base Camp
This airstrip is still in use, but mainly in the mornings when the weather conditions are more stable. Pilatus PC-6 Porter planes can be chartered to this airstrip from Lukla, a 5 minutes flight, for around $US500.Chandra Niraula on Facebook

So for something more substantial find time for a watch of Nomadic Samuel’s Nepal Travel Guide, at 49:40 you need to make a coffee and sit back but it is definitely a good watch!
Focussing on Kathmandu and Pokhara, it covers things to do, attractions, visiting temples and markets and most importantly an insight on the food.
But of course for many Nepal is about hiking and unfortunately these guys didn’t make it this time around.
