Gokyo Valley, is home to the highest freshwater lake system in the world, high in the Khumbu region in northeastern Nepal on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest. The valley hosts several eight-thousand plus mountains; Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), and Cho Oyu (8188m) amongst others. Gokyo Valley is often said to be one of the most picturesque valleys in Nepal comprising of 19 lakes, large and small.
Who do we know that is there?:
Check out Clear Sky Treks, Ram Chandra Basnet knows his stuff and operating since 2003. He offers several Treks in the area. and is definitely worth a look.

Another excelent proposition might be Trekthrough who offer thier Gokyo Lake Trek A team of motivated professionals who are committed to provide an unforgettable holiday experience.

I am sure there is a whole load more I should say about the Goykyo Valley, but probably this would come better from the many visitors, tour operators or local people that live there. If you are one of them please leave a comment on this post.
