When you think of France, wine probably comes to mind. In fact it probably comes to everybody’s mind and there are several good regions in France, but I want to tell you about a special one. It’s called the Minervois region and it’s been recognized as an exceptional area for wine production all the way back in Roman times. It’s a special place with great scenery and wonderful tastes.
For my excursion, I made it to this enchanting little town called La Livinière that’s almost in the middle of the region. The small town has views of the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees mountains. It was a really neat town to drive into because I felt like I could see all the history and how it has affected this one little town from the first glance.
